K- Ville: One is Not Enough

Would anyone be satisfied to have peanut butter just once in a lifetime? All lovers of this delicious treat would bluntly reply no. Now I ask the same question to producers of K-Ville that whether to have just single season of K-Ville TV show was enough.  My reply is also frank and blunt, a simple NO! Entertainment to me is like a luxury car, which takes time to accelerate. To me time was near for K-Ville to touch the top gear to provide ultimate entertainment to its growing fan base. It was a TV show which had the potential to be a classic but it has been derailed of the track before due time.

Though the plot of K-Ville TV series was fictional but Hurricane Katrina is a reality, which has brought permanent change in life of many unfortunate Americans. Also we can observe many volunteers in real life too that have come up to work towards a noble cause of rebalancing the life of those, whose life had been put off balance due to this natural catastrophe. In spite of the cancellation of this potentially great TV series, I still cannot stop admiring all those who sowed the seeds of this wonderful idea.

I have met many victims of Hurricane Katrina who believed in the message propagated by this show. They are disheartened with abrupt cancellation of “K-Ville.” A TV show is not all about popularity or the money its makes it is also about the ethics behind the whole idea. “K-Ville was not only an ethical show but also a medium to propagate a noble cause, though in an indirect manner. I have such a strong connection with K-Ville TV show that I could have never missed an opportunity to download its episodes. When I came across this website, I saw this opportunity on the cards and wasted no time in downloading episodes of K-Ville. I can even use this place to watch this TV show’s episodes online.

It’s worth watching

Have you seen the episode ‘Bedfellows’ from K-Ville? If not, then do try it once and you won’t regret watching it. I liked this episode especially because it highlighted the real issues of contemporary political environment. It throws light upon the genuine reasons behind peoples’ notion about politicians and it’s tragic that due to the malpractices of a few persons people have lost their faith in even those politicians who are fair towards their responsibilities.

In this episode, a former attorney and city councilman is being murdered and Boulet and Cobb reach the spot. Their first hand investigations point to an upscale brothel. There they find out a shocking fact that Captain Embry has a risky relationship with a prostitute and he knows everything about the murder of the councilman. But later on, investigation leads the both officers to the underworld of political corruption, where sex trade is flourishing due to some corrupt politicians.

The writers have created this episode, at the right time when in the real life political scenario was going in the same way. The glowing example of such malpractices among politicians is the name which is in news since many years and everybody is aware of that. Did you get it? It’s Bill Clinton. You know many TV show creators designed full fledge shows based upon the Bill Clinton’s alleged malpractices. So how can K-Ville stay behind in the row, they created an episode based upon the issue. But they enlarged it to greater degree and shown a section of corrupt politicians.

Nonetheless, they highlighted the point that how politicians exploit people’s lives which are already ruined in the hurricane Katrina. Secondly, the other side of coin also got exposed. As we had a notion in our mind that after floods, people face financial loss or epidemics after the disaster is over. But here is another side that, when you are going through bad time, you are most prone to enter the crime world, as well as some self centered people get an opportunity to take advantage of those who are already going through dilemmas after getting their life completely ruined due to an irresistible natural calamity.

The Season- Review

Now it is confirmed that K-Ville is not coming back with the new season, and the season finale became it’s series finale. So let’s have a fresh look upon the season one. The pilot episode first appeared for the first time on internet to promote the show. Now, God knows it worked or not, but the pilot episode was good. The episode starts with Cobb and Boulet’s chase of a killer. He has killed a person from Marlin’s neighborhood, when he was participating in the local charity fundraiser.

In the second episode they are on hunt for an absconder from the New Orleans jail and this search digs out many more attention worthy things. In third episode they discover the underworld of corrupt politicians along with a sex racket. Captain Embry gets trapped into allegations of close relationship with a hooker. But in the end, he is cleared of all charges.

In the fourth episode, Cobb and Boulet encounter a woman’s murder, which is supposedly done with the help of black magic by her jealous ex-husband. In AKA, as the consequences of Cobb’s decision, a glue boy is injured and Cobb is guilty to the extent that he recalls his past as a criminal and goes undercover.

In ‘Flood, Wind and Fire’, Cobb and Boulet find an insurance adjuster’s body in the area where waters still exist. Later in the ninth episode, Boulet discovers a racket run by a local criminal from an upscale shop. In ‘Ride Along’, a reporter investigating shooting investigation travels along Boulet and Cobby.

In the finale episode, Baulet and Cobb are deputed to watch New Orleans native Vin Baer in his college football national championship. Now if you want to know what special did they find about him, you need to watch this episode from here? Enjoy full season of K-Ville here.
