I am sure; this statement is definitely going to put many of you under great confusion.

But that’s the fact, and TV actor Anthony Anderson has come across this, in his real life, as well.

This personality from the series ‘K-Ville’ that we all love to download, has become a part of the leading pharmaceutical firm, Eli Lilly & Company’s ‘F.A.C.E’ campaign.

The campaign F.A.C.E stands for “Fearless African Americans connected and empowered’, and works towards educating African Americans towards the fatal Type 2 Diabetes.

More than 50% of African Americans today suffer from this disease. Reportedly, African Americans have 1.8 times more chances to be affected by this disease than anyone else does, and that is why Anthony Anderson is supporting this campaign.

Well, if you think that this reason is enough for Anthony to be a part of it, then hold on, until you hear the complete story.

Anthony saw his father living a painful life, and finally dying of this disease.

Not only this, he himself was diagnosed with the same disease 10 years ago, and later on, his mother too was found to be diabetic.

By being a part of the campaign, Anderson wants to spread the awareness which he has gained about the disease, to the rest of the sufferers.

He says that when he was diagnosed with this illness, he had no one to talk about it, none, who could guide him on what could be done next.

And the reason why he was so passionate to be linked with the campaign remains, that with it every African American with type 2 diabetes can get all the information they need about this ailment.

That’s really a great cause that Anthony Anderson is a part of!

Despite all this, the actor remains dedicated towards his acting profession.

Even though Tawny has never been one to speak openly about her love interests and major turn-ons, we got a subtle hint of an attraction towards one of her co-stars in a K-Ville interview that she gave.

In the interview, Tawny couldn’t seem to be able to contain her excitement, as she talked about her hunky co-star on the show, Anthony Anderson.

Well, with that beaming smile and charismatic persona that the man has, it is no doubt that Tawny seems to have the hots for him!

Tawny didn’t seem to need even a moment of thought, as she answered the question about who, in her opinion, was the most talented karaoke singer on the sets of the show.

Describing the character of Ginger, Tawny says that she is the kind of woman, who would prefer giving you a punch across the face, as opposed to hugging you.

Tawny says that she found the whole thing very creepy and did not reply.

This time, this philanthropist came forward for the mission, Victory over Diabetes, which is devoted to raising funds for African American patients, who are suffering from type 2 diabetes.

The main focus of this event was an enlightening workshop and free of cost health screening. Tony not only encouraged the participants, but also amassed funds to secure their future.

I’m impressed with this man, who can go to any extent to help the people of the society he lives in! There are only a few individuals left in this world, who think about others.

The K-Ville actor, who is himself a diabetic, shared his experiences. He disclosed that his life took a dramatic turn, when he was diagnosed with type 2 diabetes.

But with the help of proper medical assistance, he has overcome the disabling condition. He also made it clear that nothing can be done until and unless, you start taking care of yourself!

We all know Cole Hauser as detective Trevor Cobb from the popular series K-Ville. He plays a hard-hitting and determined cop from the New Orleans Police Department. On the show, he teams up with veteran cop Marlin Boulet (Anthony Anderson).

It’s just the name of his new venture. Yup! His new movie is called The Hit List.

The powerful cop has played the role of Allan Campbell, who works as a corporate in a company. But, unlike the series K-Ville, in the movie he is a struggler and having a very bad day. He encounters all traumatic situations - like his colleague (a junior) getting a promotion before him, his cheating on him and a tormenting local thug, from whom he has taken a loan.

Allan Campbell (Cole Hauser) ends up in a bar for a couple of drinks to forget the mishaps of the day, and that is where things take a turn.

It is there that he meets Jonas Arbor, a professional killer.

Allan shares his sufferings with Jonas and the latter asks Allan to write five names he wants to get rid of.
Unfortunately, Allan writes his wife’s name (Sydney) in the list as well. When Jonas starts eliminating the people in the list, Allan realizes his blunder and tries to save Sydney.

Though the movie got a lukewarm response at the box office, I liked the movie for Cole’s convincing portrayal of a helpless man, who later vows to fight for himself and his loved ones. Chris Gooding Jr. was superb as the psychotic Jonas Arbor.

Now, I am convinced that Cole can pull off any role - be it Trevor Cobb from K-Ville or a helpless Allan Campbell in The Hit List.

At least, Anthony Anderson thinks so, who didn’t shy away from outclassing every kid by the kind of activities he indulged in alongside his young daughter!

Recently, the guy spent some quality time with his daughter and participated in the planking process.

The two of them were seen to be busy carrying out this procedure in their home at full swing.

Though it didn’t and won’t make much sense to an adult, but that’s where Anthony is different from others, especially when it comes to his kids.

Actor Anthony Anderson, whom you know as Marlin Boulet from K-Ville episodes, recently revealed his experience from last year’s Father Day and told us about the gift that he received from his son.

The actor revealed that he got a handmade coin collection box from his son! The wooden box had his and his son’s name inscribed on it. The box wasn’t empty and had a two $2 bills inside it!

Anthony revealed that the rare $2 bills were given by him to his son. And to his surprise, the little one had returned them as gifts on the ceremonious day!

So sweet, and smart, I must add!

Every kid has his own way of looking at things. But Anthony Anderson’s son seems wise beyond his years! Through his gift, he tried to convey to his dad that it’s high time that he started thinking about the future!

Jokes apart, I think Anthony Anderson’s son has really provided all the sons and daughters of the world, some food for thought!

Anyway, right after celebrating the occasion, Anthony might head off to Las Vegas as he is supposed to be one of the presenters in the upcoming Ford Hoodie Awards Show.

These days, the actor is on top of the moon, because of the success of his recently released horror movie ‘Scream 4’.

In one of his interviews, the talented actor revealed that he wanted to see famous rapper, Ice Cube, be a part of horror movies.
Is there any plan on the part of Anthony to seal the deal with Ice Cube for the next installment of Scream?
Well, there might be a possibility, but everything will depend on Ice Cube.
During the tête-à-tête, Anthony admitted that he desperately wanted to see how the rapper would look like, when chased by a crazy murderer in a scary movie. He also went on to say that Ice Cube’s aggressive attitude is something that would work in such kind of movies.
Well, I don’t know about the future of Ice Cube, but I can assure you that Anthony has certainly hit the jackpot with ‘Scream 4’.
He has always had the potential to shine like a top-notch star in the industry. Even his small stint as Marlin Boulet in K-Ville was enough to assure that he hit it out of the park! In fact, there are still a number of fans who download the show just to catch a glimpse of Anthony in it!
Frankly speaking, if given a chance I would love to watch K-Ville online, and relish the performance of Anthony Anderson, all over again.
Besides his acting, it is his typical American accent that is something which brings him into the limelight.
Coming back to his wish of seeing rapper Ice Cube in horror flicks, I would say that the actor has surely developed a kind of obsession, after working in the Scream franchise.

It’s sad to come to terms with the fact that the path-breaking show, K-Ville is no longer on air.
You must be wondering why I have tagged the show ‘path-breaking’.

Well there are some reasons behind my doing so.

Without much ado, let me throw some light on the same.

One of the important factors that helped the show stand apart from the clichéd range of the ‘n’ number of TV shows, is its unique subject matter.

The show tried to give a realistic representation of the condition of the city of New Orleans, right after the devastating hurricane Katrina, lashed its fury on it.

Show creator Jonathan Lisco deserves a humongous round of applause, for not just conceptualizing such a show, but also putting into it, a lot of research work, especially on the New Orleans Police Department (NOPD).

Basically, the idea was to present a fictional portrayal of the law and order situation in New Orleans, after Katrina. In a bid to bring that truly realistic tinge, the original logo of NOPD was also used.

There is also an interesting tale about how the show got its title, K-Ville.
It is an abbreviation of Katrinaville!

Since Jonathan had to rely heavily on the research work, to prepare the script for the show; in one instance, while he was at NOPD, his eyes caught the term ‘Katrinaville’ scribbled across a wall. And instantly, he decided to pick the term for the title of his show.
Another essential factor that voiced the uniqueness of the show, is the inclusion of social aspects of policing in Katrina-hit New Orleans.

In both the seasons of the show, we got to see how the fictional team of NOPD, helped out several people of the city, by wrapping up murder case investigations, on time.

Be it the killing of the fundraiser or the baffling murder of the insurance adjuster, the team managed to unearth the culprit with razor-sharp accuracy and precision.

Since the backdrop of the storyline was a disturbed city, there was no dearth of conflicting story arcs, in each episode.

K-Ville made its debut on September 17th, 2007, and certainly managed to mirror the change that took place in New Orleans, after the wreckage caused by Katrina.

Guys, did you know that K-Ville had only one season?
The eleventh episode was the last installment of the show, before the gods at Fox decided to cancel it.

Huh!

What do they know of what happens with fans after the cancellation of a show that they have come to love?

Anyway, my ranting is not gonna make much a difference.
But, today I am here to discuss something about the protagonist of this hit series.
He is none other than, Anthony Anderson, who can be seen in his self-produced series, ‘Anacostia’, these days.

The news that I am here to share with you was a matter of surprise for the star of the K-Ville series himself.

Till some days back, Anthony did not know that he was so famous amongst his fans.
He was in Los-Angeles off-late for ‘Anacostia’s’ shooting and went out with one of his crew-mates, as they planned to go clubbing.

While the two of them were standing in the row to get the tickets, a girl looked at him and screamed, “Oh, my god! You’re the…Anacostia!”

Anthony and Marion, Tony’s friend, were totally dumbstruck and surprised.

I am sure deep down you wanted to be recognized and were pretty happy when it did happen!
It always feels good to be famous and recognized, and like any other talented actor, you too deserve all the love and applause Anthony.

After all, you are one of the most popular guys on TV.

I mean, anyone who has seen this guy at work, would agree with me!
However, talking about the incident that happened with Anthony lately, he revealed that he was surprised and at the same time, fantasized about that moment.

It is quite natural on the part of every human being, to be happy, when one is recognized in the crowd of thousands, by his or her fans.
